This atlas contains 13 charts showing the tidal streams commencing 6 hours before HW Weymouth and ending 6 hours after HW Weymouth. Tidal Streams in this area are not only unusually complex but also give rise to hazardous tidal races. This TSA covers the offshore and inshore streams in detail. In particular the eddies along the shore are clearly and accurately shown as well as the areas and times when dangerous overfalls occur. When used in conjunction with the author's 'Inshore Along the Dorset Coast' will be invaluable to canoeists, divers, fishermen and other small craft users.
