Nautical Chart Title: North West Wales Leisure Folio
Publication Date: Sept, 2005
Latest Edition: Mar, 2008
Published by: UK Hydrographic Office
Size: A2

The charts in this Admiralty leisure folio cover the coasts of North West Wales, spanning down Colwyn Bay to Aberystwyth. Covering 37 miles (60km) of the coastline is Snowdonia National Park, the entirety of which is a Special Area of Conservation. The coastline runs up from the Ll?n Peninsula down the mid-wales coast, the latter of which has numerous valuable sand dune systems.

The island of Anglesey, just off of the North West coast, is the largest Welsh island and the largest in the Irish Sea. It is a relatively low lying island with ‘mountains’ spaced evenly over the north. To the South/South-East of the island, there is a narrow separation to the Welsh mainland; the Menal Strait. The island’s entire rural coastline has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, characterised by dramatic cliffs interspersed with small bays.

All of our Admiralty Leisure Folios are printed on heavyweight paper, and come packaged in a plastic wallet. They are compiled to the same exacting standards and detailed information as all our admiralty charts, used by professional mariners and the Royal Navy.

This folio consists of the following 20 sheets:
