Chart Title: North Sea, Southern Sheet
Published by: UK Hydrographic Office
Scale: 1:750,000
Standard Admiralty Charts are corrected in stock on a daily basis until despatched.
This admiralty paper chart covers the southern part of the North Sea; the marginal sea of the Atlantic Ocean that lies between Great Britain and other European countries Scandinavia, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and France. As well as being a site of important European shipping lanes, fishery and recreation and tourism for bordering countries, it’s recently become a rich source of energy resources including fossil fuels, wind, and early forays into wave power.
The Southern part of the North Sea consists primarily of sandy beaches and wide muflats. The International Hydropgraphic Organization defines the limits of the Southwest of the North Sea as a line joining the Walde Lighthouse (France, 1°55'E) and Leathercoat Point (England, 51°10'N) and (on the East) The Western limit of the Skagerrak - a line joining Hanstholm (57°07′N 83°6′E) and the Naze (Lindesnes, 58°N 7°E).

About Our Admiralty Charts
Our Admiralty Charts are printed onto light chart paper that is supplied and watermarked by the UKHO. They are supplied on this paper to fulfil their primary purpose of being a navigation aid. If you wish to purchase a chart as an art print, please note that the chart is rolled to be posted and creases may occur. We recommend choosing our Courier Delivery shipping option at the checkout to reduce the risk of this occurring.
